Huff Puff.. Whheewwwww.. Happy Birthday Babe….

See almost blew it.. Happy Birthday Karen!!

Today is my wife’s birthday. I didn’t get a chance to write about it in here today because I took her out after we got the kids to school, took her to lunch, then we were off to See Indy IV. (Which by the way I give 7 out of 10 Anchors as a review, but that will be in the entertainment post.)

All, Karen is my “BEST” Friend. She stood by me and let me serve in the Navy and Marine Corps 110%. She used to be a Doc herself but got out after we had our first child. She kept the home fires burning and took care of the brood while I was gone with my unit’s etc.

We had a plan and kept to it. Our goal was that that on my last tour she would attend college and get her RN. She accomplished this task. Not only that, but because of her hours etc, she wanted me to be a stay at home dad, but also run Corpsman.com as a full time job.

Who could ask for a better woman? I get to know my kids which is #1, but a strong second is taking care of Doc’s still like I did for 24 years.

So, I know that folks thank me for the site, but the truth of the matter is there would be no site without the love and support of Doc Konkle.
