Not to sound pleading, but I'm desperate for information. The Navy is a whole new world to him and to us. He wants to do well and succeed. He's hearing subs might be the best option. He's heard not so good things about Pendleton which is where we (Mom and Dad) hoped he be based. Something about intense rivalry between officers and enlisted in San Diego. He's enlisted. It's kind of like looking for that special someone when you were / are dating. You'll never find them until you stop looking and then low and behold there they are right in front of you. So let it go, enjoy the time with your kid(s) and something else fun to do. Before you know it you'll be sitting back at the computer banging away on the keyboard wondering what all of the fuss was about.
