I think only HMC Crone knows about this. My wife was diagnoised with cancer a few weeks ago. Six days ago, she underwent a Masectomy (hope I spelled it right). We got the pathology report back two days ago. The lymphnodes they took, had ZERO cancer evidence.

This means they got all the cancer and she is as of now a survivor on DAY 6. Ther emay or may not be any chemo P.O. coming up, that is up to our oncologist when we see him/her.

I have been given a great relief from this. Mary is doing well, physically and emotionally. Ther eis no post surgery depression, no loss of self esteem. One tow or none, I'm glad to have my best friend around.

Now if they do reconstruction later and make her have three, well I can't deal with that!!!!!!! She laughed at that today.

Puck,

I am so happy for you and your wife. I know you let me know abou this before you posted for all to see. They did not realize the stress you have been under. We here at the Crone Clan will pray for you and yours. Keep a stiff upper lip my friend!

Also thank you for taking care of those family members of those who have been KIA. You are doing a service that few can fill.

Semper Fi..

Fantastic news. If lymph nodes are not involved, usually no chemo, or a very short course/low dose. Does she have any family members w/ such?

Now a cancer survivor, that is something not many people can say. I know it has to be a tremendous relief for you and her. Good news, for a change!
