For those who will go for their physical in MEPS just wanna give you some info what happened to me . MY recruiter and I arrived 5:30 morning got line, they open at 6:45. Before you enter someone will brief what is not allowed inside...rules...etc..then they will let you in go through the metal detector and report to the front desk remember bring your SSN and if your not a citizen like me bring your green card. They will give you the forms and ask to go a room than get your blood pressure. You will be ask to leave the forms in chair and report in another room to get your vision and hearing test. After that you gonna be ask to go back to the were your bp was taken and wait for the others. They gonna brief again about article 83 "Fraudulent enlistment, appointment, or separation" cos you gonna be ask to fill up the form that they give you, is all about your medical history while you doing this they give you a breathalyzer test, they will also tell what will happen for the whole day.

There are 3 stages, first is the physical test in which they will test you if you are qualified to enter military service, second is the processing to which they will do back ground check, and last talking to a classifier in which you gonna choose what job you want and sign your contract. Then after that the fun part begins..

*1st stage* -=physical=-
They will devided you into groups for a doctor interview, draw blood samples and urine test remember if you dont feel like your gonna go, dont force it. You have to fill atleast half a cup if you fall short you have to do it again, but remember you have to do the test before 11:30 or they gonna ask to leave go back in another day. After that all males will gonna go in a room they will ask to take all clothes including shoes with the exception your under garments. They will check your lungs...feet..height and weight...by the way some people are overweight they check them for their body fat percenstage *the navy has a new regulation for males and females it went up...for males it used to be 22% now its 25%* they will also check you for scars and tattoos. after that they divided as in two groups one they will check your eyes, ears mouth and the other groups the famous cough and bend. Then after that they ask to form a line and ask to do some movement with your feet and hands they do this to check your joints, here they will ask you to do duck walk which is fun :) . After this you gonna have your final interview with the doctor they will check if you completed all the test and ask you to go to the medical desk. From there they gonna tell you to go to the cafeteria and eat. After that you gonna go to the waiting area and wait for your name to be called.

*2nd stage*-=processing=-
After 40 mins of waiting i think, i heard my name ask me to go a room finger print ask about drugs, alcohol, traffic tickets etc. From their you gonna go to the waiting area again and wait for someone in the navy office to call you.

*3rd stage*-=interview=-
From here you know your in the 3rd stage, if they call you, you gonna talk to the classifier, read your contract if they promise you and its not in the contract it will not happen remember that. After signing your contract this they will gonna ask you to go to the front desk a have your interview with a MEPS personnel. From there you will be ask to another waiting room for your sworn in. Then after this you gonna be ask to go to the navy office and get you DEP ID card. Well this is my experience at MEPS

Nice after action report rendell. However I recommend breaking it up into paragraphs and adding lines in-between them.

I realize Citrus is not a HM yet so I will explain..

you can't duckwalk if you have "FLAT FEET"...

Flat Feet are not allowed in Military Service..

I am really glad you explained this. LOL. My husband had already warned me that I would be required to do some weird things at MEPS, but I didn't know specifics. But I coulda told ya I didn't have flat feet in a much more dignified manner. LOL!
