These organizations were started by WWII Corpsmen - primarily FMF. For the Marine who wanted to write a book about Tarawa, etc., it would probably be better to get in contact with some of these WWII Pharmacist Mates. I generally find myself one of the older folks looking at this site and I'm a FMF Corpsman who was in RVN.

I have always wanted to write. If anyone ever sits in a fantasy sports league with me, they know.

However, short essaays aside, I've never figured I could write a vbook. I do have an idea, but since it requires talking to others across the country, not sure how I make the contacts.

Any ideas as to how to keep it simple or any thing?

Try writing a series of essays that delve into the subjects you'd like to see in your book.

Arrrange the essays together in the general order you'd like to see them addressed in your book.

The short essays can then serve as the foundation for each chapter. You can add or eliminate info from each essay as needed. You may need to write a new transition or conclusion so the story flows from chapter to chapter in book form the way you want it to.

Then again, your book could always be just a serious of short essays if you wanted it to

Just an idea....
