I ship out for basic November 6th, 2007 and I am very interested in The Psychiatric Technician School. I noticed that they only have classes 3 times per year and was wondering if anyone knew when the start dates are and if there is a long waiting list of students wanting to get in? If there is not a long waiting list do you know if I would be able to add it to my contract depending on when the classes start? I am going in as an E-2 and will be getting my BS in Psychology while I am in.

Thanks for the help. http://forums.military.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Correct me if I'm wrong here HMC(Ret.), but I understand that Psych stuff was all being handed over to civilians? If that's the case, you're going to have an uphill battle getting that 'C' School right out of NHCS.

I wasn't aware of that, they still have the schooling listed as an option at NSHS in Portsmouth, VA. For E-1 to E-4, here's the link with the information.
