I am going to see it again. I went at midnight on opening night to see it.
My 1st opinion was that it was like watching a "BENNY HILL" episode (Not funny) just dis-jointed, like watching several different acts. The movie did not flow for me.
Now that being said, I had just finished re-reading the book that day, so the books storyline was fresh in my head. Everyone knows a book is better etc, but they re-wrote the damn story in the movie. Cho-Chang Narc'in on the DA??? This did not happen in the book. It will create a problem when they get to the Deathly Hallows as Cho Chang is in it as well..
Talk about writing yourself into a corner.
I think the fan-boys will always say they like something. I really thought each movie had gotten better until this one.
I give it a "C" grade.. Acting was good but direction was terrible.

HMMM
I actually liked this one. The inconsistencies were many but over all I did like it. I will also have to see it again. Being that the parchment they signed was not enchanted as in the book anyone could narc without complications. Truth serum was used to get at the location of D.A., was that also used in the book? I have not read the book yet, waitin on the wife. I do think a lot was just thrown in almost last minute like. Gwarp is one there are others but my mind is elsewhere. One thing I did like a lot was the cinematography, oh and the effects. The “fight” and the end I thought was well done. Chompin at the bit for the next movie and to read the close.
I too saw the film & it was on opening day. I'm hoping to see it again but at the local IMAX theatre here in Madison. It's a lot darker than the prior Harry Potter films and little if any humor in this one. I can't say if it's better or worse than the previous 4 but it's "different". Once it comes out on DVD I will be purchasing the movie. I liked the movie and would recomend that others see it. I would give it a thumbs up.
