Finally! I went to MEPS today and took the physical, drug test, etc. I'm good to go. I got A School, 8404 School and the 20K Bonus in my contract for the Reserve program. I ship out 20071219. I just wanted to say thanks to Da-Chief and everyone else on here who gave me advice. I appreciate all of your help.

On a side note: I tried to join back in April of 2006. I had (have) a tattoo on my upper back that extends onto my neck. I was told I was DQ'd and I would have to get it removed. After almost a year and $783.42 I only had one more treatment left this August. I happened to stop in the recruiters office with my brother-in-law last week and the recruiter said the policy changed in March. Although it would have been nice to have a phone call about the recent policy change, I am just glad that I'm finally enlisted.

*Edit: I also recieved E3 due to my college. That rocks!

That was an expensive lesson to learn. Oh well, try and not get any more tattoos.

It seems like a lot of college educated personnel are becoming Hospital Corpsman. Excellent.
