Say a prayer shipmates as our brother has been taken from us and his/our family.
May god have mercy on the sonofabitch who did this.

I went to fmss with Chris Walsh. We had a beer a few times. I didn't know him very well, but well enough to know he was a shit-hot Doc and an outstanding paramedic. His death is a severe loss to the Marine Corps, the Hospital Corps and most significantly, the Marines of 3/24.

Puckmedic,
He's on the homepage of corpsman.com.
Also, several guys that were in my unit, and then transferred to 1/25, said they were with Walsh and knew him well. They are very saddened by this. They said he wasa great guy, and an asset to the FMF.

ALLCON:
I have contacted the CACO for this HM2. I also alerted the Patriot Guard Riders MO State Ride Captain. I am attempting to get the two of them talking to hopefully get PGR invited by the family to ride and to stand in honor of HM2 Walsh.
I will be like a dog on a bone until I get some one talking to each other. I am also looking at my schedule and watching the PGR website as to when we as a group will mount up and ride this mission.
I do know the funeral may be as early as Wednesday this week, or delayed until next week. His body is apparently already at DOVER.
I got an email from an HM1 reservist in Nashville. It had the CACO's number so being a resourceful little HM1 (RET) I took action.
I am going to sweet talk the wife beg borrow and steal a way there if I can. maybe I'll tell her I'm going to getcheese and about nine hours later tell her I'm lost?
It's about a five hour ride there, so I'll need to overnight it.
Once the mission is confirmed and the family has been contacted and invites us- PGR will do all they can to gather as many riders as possible. If I do not get to go, I will be kept in the link and will hopefully be able to direct you to pictures afterwards.
I aqm beginning the process of getting there and ask you guys to pray my wife lets me go.
To send condolences to the family, once a PGR rep has made contact with the family via the caco, I will instruct you on how to get er done via the pgr website .The guys in the unit over there can also check in and read and post as well.
