is it possible to secure a c school such as fmass in your contract? if so, how should you go about doing this. im sorry if this is a pretty basic question but my reqruiter doesnt seem to know much about it. i have to call her about 6 times a week just to get a response to any of my questions. i would also like to know what the fmf device is. i cant find much about it. thank you in advance for all of your help.

They cannot guarentee it in your contract, but trust me if you want to go, you'll go. I don't know of anyone who asks for FMF duty who does not get it unless it is back to back and you have to cool off for a bit.

So even if you go to FMSS school you're not gauranteed a spot with a marine unit?

Yup true, but I can tell you withen 90% certainty that if you ask for a Marine Unit you will get a Marine unit.. read my other post on how it usually goes when negotiating for orders..

Any of them would suit me fine! I am terrified of getting stuck in a clinic or hospital somewhere. I really want to be out in the field. personally, I cant imagine doing anything more rewarding. once again, thank you for all of your help. I had a tremendous amount of trouble getting my facts straight until i stumbled upon this website. It is a great help
