Corps School?

I heard from a Corpsman (now recruiter) that the corps school is to your pace? Is this true? I thought that it would be more, 'this at this time'.If thats true then I'll shoot for a soon completion (which I doubt).How is the school? How often do you do hands on stuff?

It is still hands on but it is atyour own pace as long as your own pace beats 14 weeks which was the old pace.. get it..
Old way.. Taught in Classroom envrironment 14 weeks

New Way, you own pace, taught by computers as well as instructors when asked. etc.. Labs are still taught and evaluated by Instructors, Hands on..

BTW under the new way some have done it in as little at 6 weeks if they do clincals etc....

Wow, 6 weeks?! My leave date for basic is in march and I enlisted inmidJuly;a bit out there so I'm trying to compensate for that as much as possible. Thanks Da-Chief.:)
