Hey what's up guys, I was wondering if we have any SAR or swimmers on here? I signed up for SAR when I first entered, but during Corps school, I was dropped because "They now want all SAR to be aircrew" and not HM's... which I am pretty sure was bs. so now I know it is open for HM's.. I have held my current NEC for about 1 1/2 years now, and hate it (only picked it b/c I was upset about being dropped from SAR).. I really want to get back on that route and do what I originally intended.. Bad thing is, all of the folks I work with are shore based fellas and no one is slightly interested in me getting into this.. I am looking for any help/advice.. If someone out there can help me with information or possible contacts I would really appreciate it.
