BAH questions.

I have gone through the lists that tell you what to bring into the navy...

However in the Army I was required to bring a copy of my lease to show exactly where I live and how much I was paying in rent and utilities. Is the same true for the Navy?

Also it says to bring a liscense. Will a passport be ok? I never did get an Illinois liscense and my Ohio just expired. There was no need for me to do either because I sold my car and dont imagine doing much driving until I get out of the Navy.

Majority of the states allow military to have expired licenses as long as they have their military ID. In Wash St, I can actually get a drivers license that says NEVER EXPIRES, MILITARY.

I just put in for BAH and all I needed was a copy of my orders, my LES and the chit from my command, thats it, no lease or anything.

Also, get a license, in 4 years, there will be a time when you do need to drive somewhere.
