how do i get my eyes corrected and be a seal

i was talkin to my recruiter after meps and told him i was interested in seals. so he scheduled a screening test and i passed. they wanted me to recontract but i still wanted to go to corpsman school. but when they found out how bad my eyes were they said i couldnt be a seal. so can anyone tell me if i can get lasic and if can how to go about doing that. by the way i ship out december 13.

Sorry you can't.. What you can do is get the surgery when you get in..(On your dime mind you) and then apply. Different rules for those already in the service then for those who are out.

The reason I say you can't.. Because as soon as you have your surgery you will then need a waiver to get in. It will be approved but it is a pain in the arse.. ask NAVYCAMERON. He broke his ankle while under contract waiting to get on A/D. His contract was canceled.

Get with me after you get in.. Keep in touch here I will get with my contacts and try to help you out. I cannot and will not promise you anything but I do know the PE sections for Programs as I was a AVT for many, many many years. There are quite a few AVT's on here as well that can get the good gouge for you.
