I am not a corpsman, or a Marine. I did however work with Mark at the Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital before he was stationed in Hawaii. He was an amazing corpsman, and became an even more amazing friend and so much more. He could make you laugh when all you wanted to do was cry. He was the funniest person Ive ever met. But behind all his silly behaviour he had such a sweet sincere side to him as well. For the past 3 years he has been my rock through all the hard times and I feel lost without him. He was one of a kind, and no one will ever take his place. I will keep his memory and his laugh in my heart, and live life the way he taught me...to the fullest. My prayers go out to his father and to his Marines.

I am saddened that yet another brother has gone on and did what we all feared yet would have done. You're not going to be forgotten by us.

I can only hope the family allows us to be there for them both here and as a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. We will keep you with us, my brother.
