Good Luck Citrus!!!
I guess there's a MEPS nearby or they can just process me at Great Lakes who knows. I dont even know where I will be living up there for I guess 2 or 3 days after my parents leave.
I believe I saw MEPS there in Great Lakes. I think it was just down the street from RTC. It was located on the same street. Don't remember the name. Did they tell you where to report? If it's at RTC, then don't worry about MEPS.
Then again, they may have a 'duty driver' take you to the MEPS station down the road.

Well enjoy bootcamp. It's alot of bull but its simple. Just don't stand out and don't do anything stupid, cause they have no problem NJPing people there.
Good Luck

NJP = Nonjudicial Punishment
This is not a good thing!
Nonjudicial punishment in the United States military (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_of_the_United_States), is a form of military discipline (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_discipline) authorized by Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniform_Code_of_Military_Justice). Nonjudicial punishment permits commanders to administratively discipline troops without a court-martial (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Court-martial). The receipt of nonjudicial punishment does not constitute a criminal conviction, but is placed on the service record. A service member can be denied applying for a commission (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Officer_%28armed_forces%29) if there is a nonjudicial punishment on record. The process for a nonjudicial punishment is governed by Part V of the Manual for Courts-Martial (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manual_for_Courts-Martial) and by each service branch's regulations.
Nonjudicial punishment proceedings are known by different terms among the services. In the U.S. Army (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Army) and the U.S. Air Force (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Air_Force), nonjudicial punishment is referred to as Article 15; in the Marine Corps (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Marine_Corps) it is called office hours. The U.S. Navy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Navy) and the U.S. Coast Guard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Coast_Guard) call nonjudicial punishment captain's mast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mast_%28naval%29) or admiral's mast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mast_%28naval%29), depending of the rank of the commanding officer.

Don't wory about that. They'll just make ya do push ups for hours. No body gets NJP for being a recruit who makes mistakes. Recruits are supposed to make mistakes so they can become First Class Petty officers who make mistakes. Mistakes happen, God created the eraser no worries.
If you need NJP at boot camp, most likey the awardee isn't good material for the machine. If they have resorted to this on a regular basis, we need to bring back the old style of putting hands on and teaching idiots to FEAR senior enlisted. There was a time when that was considered proper training, and it actually got MEN ready for war and BOYS sent home. Women should get the same training.
I vote for public floggings to be reinstated. Won't have any dill holes taking a hit on a crack pipe anymore for sure!

word of wisdom- do not "beebop". I know they'll love that!!! Check with your recruiter about what time and where to be.
