i tried to post this in a another section a while ago and didn't get any response, so i'll try here!

I heard that after you pay the $1200 for the GI Bill, there's like a $600 extension that can get you more money? Is that true?

Glad you are looking into this. John received a GI Bill while he was inschool, and it really helped out a lot. But there was a guy in RT school with me that did the kicker, and it gave him enough extra that he was able to go through school without working, so all he had to do was focus on his classes. I am sure the other users will be able to elaborate on how to do this.
