Anyone in Gulfport area?

Hi guys,
Was curious if anyone was in the Gulfport area and be willing to give me a lead on how to house hunt there from Colorado? Ben's decided he's going active and he popped Gulfport, most of what I've found online says there is a waiting list due to Katrina repairs, and a waiting list really won't work for us. Base housing has a 6 month waiting list, which Ben got us on. I've never really had to wait for housing anywhere, when I was in Norfolk I just lived off base with a bunch of friends rather than live in the barracks.

It's gotta be atleast a 3 bedroom and pet friendly for a Labbie/Heeler mix. That's my only real requirements.

Any help anyone can give would be great!

there is a system called SITES that you can go online and search for housing. Many local realtors also serve as property managers. The housing rebuild down that way is in progress. There may be places available now.
