That's right we have a new addition to the family. Her name is Spaz and she is a Lab/Terrier mix puppy that is about 8 months old. We saved her from the animal shelter. So far so good the transition with the dog and kids is going well. Mackeznie doesn't like her yet, but then again Mackenzie doesn't like any big dogs. This is my pet so it is up to me to take care of her as per hubby ;-). Just thought I would share the good news with you guys.

Have a wonderful day :-)

Congrats on the new puppy. Though in my family, we are maxed out right now....1 Mini-dobie, 2 cats, 2 guenia pigs, 3 fish in 2 tanks, plus all the wild birds and critters....

The dog hogs the bed, couch, floor, pillow, and anywhere else I feel like moving to.

Dogs are like that - cats can be worse tho, because you can't make them move LOL

In the Lee house we have Baxter. He is a 7 yr old Lab and Wiermeramer mix. Black like a lab, but the body of and short hair of the Wiemerramer. his face is all wiemeramer(as you can see I have no idea how to spell it).

We also have a daschund named Oscar. He's a playful little one as well. The two get along very well. The grand children love them and they are great with kids. In fact my niece's two kids were here yesterday and the dogs couldn't get enough of running around the yard and chasing everyone!

Pups are fun, but you have to be consistent in house training them. If you need help breaking them of bad habits let me know.

one other note- Baxter was the first dog a friend of urs ever petted. She is or was scared to death of dogs due to a child hood incident where she got bit. I convinced her to try it and not be afraid of any dog that exhibits no anger issues.

Cats will move.. I attach a cord to their tales hook em up to my Fan in my room and put er on "HIGH" step back and watch.. They move. Only takes once or twice then they see me enter the room and they skedaddle..
