forum format?

It seems that either my prefernces are messed up or its just the way this forum is setup. It seems that the when I read a thread the very first post is on the bottom of the page and I have to scroll up to read the reply post. I have been a member of many other forums and this is kinda anoying because I'm used to reading from top to bottom. Is there a way to fix this in my preferences or is it like that from the vBulletin?

other thing is I do not get any emails from the forum when a reply is made to something I posted.... Kinda strange :weye:

Okay, under the user CP on the menu bar, a little down the list, you will see "Edit options". Click this. I think the exact title of the option you will be looking for is "thread display option" , where there is a drop down box. One of the choices is "Linear- show newest first", which is what yours is set to. There is another choice, which is "Linear-show oldest first", which is what you want. Be sure to save the changes, and voila! Problem Solved ! :)
