24, of Sanger, Calif.; assigned to the 60th Medical Operations Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, Calif.; died Dec. 24 at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, in a non-combat-related incident.

Nicholas died in his sleep.

Our hearts and Prayers go out to SA Eischen, his family, and fellow Airmen.

Our heart felt prayers go out to the family of SR Airman Eischen. It doesnt matter whether it was a combat related death or a freak of nature or just an accident. The sting is just the same and the hurt is just as intense. Again, his last name may not be the same as mine or yours, but he was family. May God give his family peace.
