Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles

Have you checked this show out? I was rather skeptical about tuning in for the debut episodes of this one. I mean c'mon the original Terminator Movie was GREAT, the second one was also good, the third one wasn't that great. So, frankly I was kinda expecting to be disappointed in this television installment.

But, I have enjoyed the first two episodes and am actually looking forward to what comes next in this story.

Yeah, because I was bored Sunday night after the *Cheatriots game.
I was rather skeptical about tuning in for the debut episodes of this one. I mean c'mon the original Terminator Movie was GREAT, the second one was also good
EXACTLY the same here Dee! My daughter and I saw the previews and said, "Oh brother ... " and rolled our eyes. We both liked the Terminator movies, well ...
the third one wasn't that great.
and I agree on that, too. I think it was because of the third one they went with this series. It picks up after the 2nd movie and before the 3rd one and so far is really original and fresh in it's attempt at making the story better where the 3rd movie screwed it up.

So, frankly I was kinda expecting to be disappointed in this television installment.
So were we. My daughter didn't watch it Sunday despite my yelling up the stairs that I thought she would like it after all (once it started). I convinced her to watch it with me last night and caught her up to speed on it and she likes it, too. We both agree that they are certainly making this a competitor on Monday nights for Heroes when it comes back on. Great timing to start this show ... while Heroes isn't on. Gather in the same audience watching TV on Monday nights and get them wrapped up in this storyline before Heroes comes back. Of course we'll still watch Heroes ... we'll just have to record one. ;)

Still ... we like the new idea of a woman protecting John this time, and the time leap for them. Its certainly going to get complicated with their introductions of others time leaping and fighting the war in the past.

Is there a way to see TV shows on the PC? like if I missed an episode, look it up and watch from right here? That would be awesome..

Tact - check out the Fox channel website and see - i seem to recall them saying they have the episodes as podcasts on there.

tact ... I know that they did that for Heroes but that was a different network. But considering they are probably trying to compete with Heroes I'm sure they'll have the same thing there on their site to lure viewers in and captivate them into watching and participating online as well.
