Good Evening to the forum.

My name is Joseph Boatman, and I was an FMF Corpsman with India 3/7 in 66 and 67. I also served on the USS Eldorado AGC-11 in 67-69. I live in the Austin Texas area and am very active in the Vietnam Veterans of America and other military organizations. I am the State chair for PTSD Outreach and Education for VVA and do what I can to futher the causes of disabled veterans. I am still married to my first and only wife, and have two grown children. I welcome any discussion on veterans rights, veterans health, especially PTSD, and advancement of veterans issues. I am a political liberal and heavily involved with grass roots politics. My name in the service was Jeep, and it is still the handle that I use on line. I want to say thanks to the Chief for putting this site here. It is great to be able to talk to other corpsmen and medics. We are a unique faternity and it takes a doc to understand a doc.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeep and his beautiful wife some years ago when they came to VT, and brought me a flying pig from TX. He is the best of the best, and that is all I have to say about that!

Hey, Brother Dave!!!

Glad you are on this site. Seems like a healty place to be if you know what I mean!!
To all others who read this, if I am the best of the best, David is the halmark that I was measured by. He was flying into harms way when I was ducking for cover. There are none finer than the corpsmen who flew.
Hope your keeping the flying pig out of the sugar maples. O that's right you're in Rhode Island now....keep feeding him the kelp from under your boat, it's much healthier for him.
