Please remember when you are about to graduate you will take The Hospital Corpsman Oath. Same same as a md or nurse! Under that oath you pledge to treat all; the young and old, M or F, friend or foe, enlisted or officer, the needy and the not so needy. With that in mind you can get yourself in a lot of trouble. Ask me! Been there, done that. Keep that in mind as you go up and down the enlisted scale. You took the Oath!
Good day,

I never went down the scale. I had one NJP (more or less to keep a ship CO from getting me and throwing me out on some BS) and my skipper to this day swears he did it to "teach that punk HM a lesson" but in reality it was a big snow job. Life was good with the wing!!
Oh the accusing party? After six months the little girl had been to NJP herself, placed on restriction, liberty risk, lost her rating and was facing a courtsmartial for other serious charges related to her giving false testimony in my case.
Who said the system is screwed up? I tell ya, next time some one decides to fall down a ladder drunk, and it's a female? Let her fall guys, if you grab the wrong part, you too could be in my spot back then. If she fell, broke a leg or binged her squash, no one would have anything to say about my "conduct".
Her five friends, all lied as well and I think all but one got tosed out, the other was a PO2 and he got reduced and sent to another ship. OATH??? sure no problem.
I tell ya though, I wouldn't have been able to live with my self if she had hit her head, despite all I went through- justice and truth prevailed (is that music I hear in the back ground?)

Heh, moral of the story: Sometimes it's better to fix the damage then prevent it. I know a few people that have had something similar happen to them. I guess that's one of the hazards of having external genitals.

Thats how the navy works. Any way you could have the NJP thrown out on a count of false testimony?
