View Full Version : World of Warcraft...god help me
My wife bought me World of Warcraft (WoW) for christmas. It has consumed my life [ahem - go alliance] and I can see how it can ruin them. :nah:
I still PT and spend time with her...but the game...always calling me back.
Stay away from WoW...it is a trick from terrorist to make us fat and complacent...much like McDonalds. :err:
That is all. [go alliance]

Yeah that looks really interesting, that and Warhammer online are 2 games id like to see before i deploy!
With all the hype AoC is getting and how really original its fighting scheme, land-ownership, fortressing, etc will be, I hope it lives up to it....really do.

That is all. [go alliance] Not to bump the thread...but this is why it is known as World of WarCrack...lol. I am honestly glad I have been able to stay away from it. I have a hard enough time with the games I already play...lol.
LOL lima
WarCrack ROFL
So far Rob (bobby knoxville) has avoided addiction to the game - only playing occasionally.
John, our youngest, plays almost every day sometimes for less than an hour but sometimes for 8+ hours, depending on his social calendar. ;)
Dan(kahuna5150) played for a little while when he was first deployed but for the last couple months hasn't been on it at all. Good for him HA HA
All I can say is BOY AM I GLAD I DON'T PLAY WOW - of course i do love a round of Guitar Hero II occasionally (but who has freetime when i am on here 90% of my time?) :D
...Yeahh... I just got Everquest back... a big ol :P phbbttt @ WoW. But my g/f wants me to start playing with her when she gets a computer and internet...
So, I must sabotage all her attempts to get a computer, clearly.
(See you all in WoW in like..3 months! )

My wife, the hot-blooded, red-headed irishwoman that she is, has her ways to "lure" me away from WoW. There is:
1) The get-your-butt-off-that-comp-and-cuddle-me eyes from the bed across the room
2) The "I am going to go take a shower, and when I get back, you BETTER be off that game"
3) The sit on your lap while your trying to level, knowing you need both hands trick
4) The give me a list of errands on my day off to do to keep me from playing
5) The "i know I have my own computer networked into yours for surfing...but Ill use your anyway"
6) and finally, the "your getting fat...why dont you go jog" lol
lmao Taylor so very true!

Best way to avoid those is to say "Hey hun why don't I make you a charicter and show you about the game". I promise you that 2 days after you do this you will have to go out and buy a second WoW game and start her up on her own account or you will NEVER get to play! I did that with my girlfriend and almost got booted from my guild because I missed to many raids. Now we fight together side by side. Don't know what I'm going to do when I get to field med in a month and to my unit after that. Guess its time to hang up the curses and heals for now.
Oh and before I forget... FOR THE HORDE!!!!

Guilty as charged. Sadly I find myself patiently awaiting for the launch of www.eqclassic.org (http://www.eqclassic.org)
just waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Patiently.

I'm in PVP beta. So far, I'm unimpressed.
Some seriously clumsy combat controls.
