My name is nick and i go to boot camp on March 13th as a HM :D i can not wait i guess a lil bout me Im from New Braunfels Texas we have the #1 water Park in the U.S. haha and we have 2 rivers in the town as well stay away in the summer it sucks lol Im 19 ill be 20 in july yay my first B-day in the Navy lol i was in MCJROTC for 4 years in High School so i get to go in as an E-3 as a Corpsman i want to be an FMF Corpsman or my brother is trying to get me to be a Dive Med. Tec. but i think im gona go with FMF haha my Brother is an EOD tec. so i think that is Bad A** :] and the only thing that bugs me is the HM School im not the best test taker but i plan on being in the top 5.....

so i for got to put that my jr. year in HS our Col. and MSgt. took 45 of us outa 130 to Naval Amphibious Base (NAB) Coronado for a week that was the best week ever we did the seal O'cours and Marine Recon boat training needless to say the boats were 800 lbs it suck having to carry them and we went to MCRD and we went to MIRAMAR is was cool i miss it our ROTC keept us moving at all times

I too was a high school Jr. R.O.T.C. graduate, mine was Army, glad to hear you completed the Marine Corps Jr. R.O.T.C.

So, you're not the best test taker eh? Corpsman school has a few of those beasts, like 13 or so. I won't go into much detail and will allow some of the other corpsman to respond. In the meantime, take a look at the thread entitled NHCS for some insight into the academics of Corpsman school.
