I'm trying to unite a Congressional Medal of Honor receipent with the corpsman that treated him in Viet Nam. It's cryptic by I think the corpsman's name is Wesley Berwell?? Thanks
Do you have any more information than that? Like possibly what unit Berwell was assigned with?
Also, have you gone to www.togetherweserved.com (http://www.togetherweserved.com) or www.military.com to enter a search there?
If not, those are both two really good resources. If you knew more about the corpsman's unit it may help you find fellow shipmates of his and they may know something that isn't posted.
Good luck Mike.
Just another thought. Berwell is a vet, and being a vet he may have a record with VA assistance programs and hospitals since leaving the service, so checking with the VA is another option. I've never tried that so I don't know just how much they can or cannot help you, especially in the days of HPPA laws. But there's that old saying, "If you don't ask you'll never know." So, ask.

Try the VFW as well. Plenty of NAM vets hanging around local posts. Since just about every town has one, even if he's not a member, the VFW magazine will reach a vet that may know him in a small town some place. Our magazine has a section where people looking for some one can post an inquiry.
