Hello all! My name is James and I will soon be joining the ranks of Hospital Corpsman. I ship out 20080602. I couldn't be any more excited! This forum has definitely gotten me even more psyched about the journey I am about to undertake :D Anyway, I shall talk to everyone soon!

just curious..when did you go 2 meps..i only ask because i went first week of february and they said the earliest i could go was september 29th! and i wanna go asap so im just wonderin.

He may have entered the Navy before you, under the Delayed Entry Program, DEP and received his ship date awhile back.

Thats odd, because my DEP date was 20080213. Maybe there was a last minute opening when I went?

He may have Depped in during mid or late 2007. Some wait one year!
