Myka is a set-top box with HDTV resolutions up to 1080i available and the potential to play back Blu-Ray torrents.
There have been suggestions that a product such as this one could significantly boost the average consumer s interest in the BitTorrent movement. However, it s also been noted that major companies impacted by the product could fight against it and that they may have a leg to stand on since the legality of the product could come into question. The product isn t on the market yet but should be soon and is expected to be priced just slightly higher than the Apple TV.
