View Full Version : Shippin' out on 20080325
Hello, guys.
I just want to let you know that I'm shippin' out to Great Lakes on 03/25. After bootcamp, I will be attending Corpsman School across the street. Then I will go to FMSS school.
I'll see you back in a few weeks.
Proud to be a future corpsman.

Our very best to you Recruit! Do your best, excel and become the best Corpsman to walk the halls of NHCS. oorah!
learn a lot and study your butt off... Only the best will do
Hello, sailors and future sailors.
I made it through bootcamp. I wasn't bad at all. It was a pain in the butt to deal with several young boys fresh out of high-school (I'm 31, so I think you all know what I mean). But I have to confess, it was a good experience.
Well, here I am at Naval Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes. I really like this place (BEQ 129, for those of you who've been here). I'm having my first test on monday. Coming out of paramedic school before going to bootcamp takes me one step ahead of my shipmates. I hope I do well in here. After Corpsman school, I'll be heading to Camp Lejuene for FMTB school. I can't wait to serve with the Marines.
Once againg, proud to be a future USN Corpsman and recite the Corpsman Pledge on graduation day and live by it.

Congratulations and good luck at Camp Swampy. I attended field med at Lejeune but that was back in '93. I wish you the best of luck in your future career as a Corpsman. And once again Congratulations.

Hang in there, I'm sure you will have some trying times dealing with the younger class mates.....But, I have no doubt you will prevail! I went through FMSS at camp Swampy in 1996, just drove through there a few months ago before I deployed and it still deserves the title camp Swampy! Although there is alot more in town then there was when I was there.
