"C" Schools right out of HM "A" School

I don't know what I had here.. but this is for "C" Schools after "A" School.

Not sure if this is the right thread to post this question if not please feel free to place in the correct spot ( and if it is in the wrong place I appologize).

I had a question pertaining to FMSS and how you recieve orders to either Camp Pendelton or Camp Lejeune. I've heard that it deals with where you enlisted at (enlisted at Chicago MEPS), but when I asked my recruiter he thought that only the Religious Servicemembers when to the Lejeune, but heisn't an HM so I am lost for right now. If it depends on location does the Mississippi just split the U.S. or is it just based upon open seats? Thanks

Well it also depends where your orders are at. If they give you west coast, then chances are you're going to the mighty Camp P (hills hills and cardiac hills!), east coast orders obviously get Camp L (flat flat, muggly mosqueto ladden bleh!). Thats how common sense makes it, but as we all know, this is the military...

What r the chances to obtain C school right after HM A school? And which Schools?

All depends on open slots. If a slot is open the detailers will try to fill it. One thing of note though, you cannot get X-RAY after A School, you have to have a tour under your belt first.

They ususally send people if slots availible to:
FMSS (8404) (ALL MALES GO OUT OF CORPS SCHOOL)

Aviation Med (AVT) 8406

Lab Tech

Psyh Tech

Surgical Tech

Seal (You must be screened)

RECON (You must be Screened)

My name is Donald Birch and I am stationed at NEPMU 6 Pearl Harbor, HI. I have been in the Navy for four years..... As far as taking a "C" school out of "A" it was the best thing I have done in my military career.I went to boot camp, corps school and then to preventive medicine tech school. Through all the military schooling I was able to finish my degree. I would try and select a school that offers as much education as possible and furthers your career.

<o:p>What about These C School. Now I know they require you to be at least an E-3. Lets assume you are one of these high speed Sailors who are E-3 right out of A School. Can you apply for said schools.

It all depends on what's open. I wouldn't have your heart set on anything.
