TRAVEL ALERT!!!! Return from Deployment

Yep - you guessed it - Dan (kahuna5150) is coming back from his deployment - window is 21 or 22 Apr - so I have already made my travel arrangements for room and rental car to be in Camp Lejeune when my son comes back.

This little jaunt to NC provides me with the perfect opportunity to meet up with other members who are in the area. SO, if you live in the Jacksonville area and would like to get together - POST UP here or PM me with your contact info and we will work it out.

Already looking forward to meeting CrazyCajun and Mrs Cajun while we are there. Also planning to meet lovinmydoc as she will be there greeting her returning honey.

TRIP CANCELLED - gotta love the military for screwing up plans

OK - so here is the latest news - Dan and the rest of the left behinds should (I stress SHOULD) be back on Sat 26 Apr 08 - unfortunately this makes a trip down there impossible for me. BUT - if I can swing it we are going to TRY to get down there when he has his 96 hour pass and can spend some time with us. Nothing definite at this time since we don't know what we can work out in our schedules here.

I really want to go down and see Dan but just knowing when he is back in the states is going to be a weight off my shoulders. Having him under my roof again will be nice too - i won't have to hassle him long distance HA HA

A special thanks to CrazyCajun who went above and beyond to help me out - getting me a phone number that really saved my sanity - I got a call this morning from my contact (A Liutenant in Dan's unit) to asked for Doc Reno's Mom - i about choked on my coffee at that - i have been called a LOT of things but Doc Reno's Mom? That was a first.
Darrell and Tracy, thanks so much for helping me maintain my tenuous grip on sanity while my plans got flushed down the can. I do appreciate it more than words can express - you guys RULE!!!

Dan is scheduled to be back in Michigan on MONDAY 05 May at Detroit Metro around 10pm - CAN'T WAIT - anyone in the area want to be there with us when he arrives, we will be at the Continental Airlines terminal in the baggage pick up area around 9:30pm waiting for his plane :)
