Has anyone seen the new ARMY commercial on TV?
I almost laughed myself silly when they started that "ARMY OF ONE" crap.. Karen and I used to live next to a SGTMAJ from a Army Unit up here when it hit. I used to dog him to no end.. He "HATED" it. Put out the wrong message..
But the new one....

I have to applaud the Army now.. Hell made me want to visit a recruiter..

Ha! I'm the only darn one to vote yet, so my answer is 100%.
WOOHOO. :) HM3
It was ok the first 20 times I saw it...
But that's all I saw ALL WEEKEND while stuck at my parent's house in the recliner (I'm broken right now, I have an excuse!) and now I'm sick of the stinkin' commercial. It was oversaturation.
But, it's not that bad I guess. For an Army commercial.

Yeah...when I was in the Army the DRILLED into our heads this was NOT an army of one...they Drill Sergeants HATED it...and we paid dearly for it...
These commercials are decent...
But you know what kicks ass? The new air force ones...where two guys jump out of a parachute and the first army guy pulls the chord at a "safe" 4000 or so feet but the air force dude waits until like 1800 feet or so before doing it himself...couple more out there...very good...too bad they are misleading with the planes...they make it seem like ANYONE can walk in off the street and fly an F22 LOL tools!

Yeah I do. I was in the Army for 5 weeks total (thus not considered prior service)...we were doing urban warfare assault training when a recruit fell down some stairs and disclocated my knee...we put it back in and I made it three more days (remember i lied to get in so there was NO way I was going to the hospital) but it kept coming out...so I had to go when it gave out and my M16 discharged...went and was discharged 10 days later...
That is why I was SO adament about telling the truth this time around...I wanted in and I wanted to STAY in...I was going to do the same thing in the Navy (you guys call it CTI) until I read about the corpsman and IDC...it is now my single solitary goal to be an IDC.
I mean no offense to this but that is why I wasnt worried about Navy bootcamp...it will be cake compared to Army boot camp...I was apart of the infamous Charlie 2-10...only the marines had a higher attrition rate out of boot camp :P

Army...some of my fondest memories of playing in dirt, mud, sleeping in a hole, and eating food out of cans...Hoorah
Corpsman on the green side of the house understand that too...that is why the USMC always call their Corpsmen "Docs"
