Hey all,

Well I was out of the saddle for the most part this weekend. The weather finally was nice up here in the Mid-West. We have 78 Degrees today and around 72 yesterday.

Saturday, Da-Chief's Clan went to the movies. The girls saw "Bridge to Terribythia" (Which btw was good, but made my 5 years old cry like crazy, be prepared if you bring a someone who boo-hoo's easy!)

Spence and I saw "Teen Age Mutant Ninja Turtles". Ok.. It's true I was looking for Vanilla Ice through out, but alas he did not make his comeback. ;-) Seriously if you want to see some "KICK-ASS" animation/CGI, (Look for the fight in the Rain), this movie will hold you. Story was ok, but the animation and music was awesome. Only reason I went, I didn't think Spence would be in to the other movie, so we went with this. Funny thing, almost all of NTC was in there watching it.

So I played hooky all weekend with my family. It was good to be outside, I will have more time on my hands in 33 days. :zz:

I am going to post this in the Quarterdeck as well so you can respond.. What did you do this weekend? What are your plans for the spring?

took a 2 bedroom/2 bath 1087sq ft at this place. Had a month's rent knocked off for signing a 1 year lease, so thats a $2k savings.

Check it out, the place is amazing.

Wnt to Polish night at the local ELKS. Found out how out of shape I am on the first Obetic. The polkas were easy. We had the Polka King Jimmie Sturr orchestra. It was the 6th Annual and 6th time Jimmie Sturr was there. In other words It was a great time. Eddie Biaggi is still my favorite though.

I saw the movie Reign Over Me. It's actually very good - sad but really funny at times. A solid date movie.

My plans for this spring involve doing whatever the hell I'm told to do at recruit training.

hmm - my weekend - not much - enjoyed the weather - though waited for a nice walk on the trails until Monday after work - it was squishy in spots but a nice hour out in nature.

FINALLY my spring flowers are coming up - thought they were gonna be a wash this year because of the strange winter weather but crocus' popped up and tulips should be blooming soon.

Need to trim back some bushes this weekend - hopefully we won't be seeing any hard frosts so they will be fine for spring and summer growth.
