Yes, I'm THAT kinda fiction reader.

Most of the time im buried in non-fiction books, but I do love a good vampire series or a good sword and magic series.

Finding a GOOD on is hard...so anyone out there know of an engrossing series I could "sink my teeth into?"

Pun: boooooo!~! :nah:

Taylor - have you checked out Laurrell K. Hamilton - her Anita Blake series is an enjoyable read. I also recommend Kim Harrison(her series is about a Witch and a Vampire) and Jennifer Armintrout (vampires - based in Grand Rapids Michigan area - which I thought was hysterical) - found both of these authors by accident but SO glad I did - read both of their first books, was hooked and hot on the trail to locate the rest of their series' - have read all of these ladies books and have enjoyed them all. Unfortunately, now I am stuck waiting for the next additions to come out. But until then, if you have others to recommend let me know too.

BTW - a great place to get rid of paperbacks you don't want and get ones you do is www.paperbackswap.com (http://www.paperbackswap.com) - I completed the Laurell K Hamilton collection through this site and got rid of books I no longer wanted in my library. Which was a double plus for me ;)

A great book that I would recommend is called : The Name of the Wind By: Patrick Rothfuss.

It's a great fantasy book. This is the first book of 3 in the series(next 2 books arnt out yet) . Imagine Lord of the Rings meets Harry Potter, with amazing writing skills. I can honestly say it is the best book I have read. Check it out. ;)

There is a series of books by the author Mario Acevedo, he writes about an ex-soldier who was turned into vampire in the Iraq war. I have read "The Nymphos of Rocky Flats" and am stalled about half way through "X-Rated Blood Suckers". His books are easy reads and in fact seem a bit comic bookish to me.
