In a few weeks the Army National Guard will receive its first of 200 European-designed UH-72A Lakota helicopters to replace its inventory of UH-1 Huey and OH-58 Kiowa utility helos and some UH-60 Blackhawks. The new helo was built for Guard domestic medivac and other state-assigned support missions.
