Tonight is when? I have a hard time translating time zones. I think the time posted on here relates to when this computer set on Iraq time and date is.

I hope everyone has a happy new year
God bless
We are 11 hours ahead of PST, which I guess would be 8 hours ahead of EST. Wow, a set time? For me? You're too kind! I will do my best to get on here at 2pm (EST)Saturday and again at 2pm(EST) onSunday.
With sharing computers so all umpteen plus of us can use them, it makes it difficult to spend too much time on here, so I stay up late. Plus I convince myself that I'm covering both shifts of Marines by staying up half the night. They work long hours around the clock. I miss the computers in Udari, Kuwait where I could webcam with my wife. Here, I'm on a government laptop with government limitations. Oh well, at least I'm not licking stamps (to those of you that actually remember LICKING stamps) and having to send letters, although letters are a special pleasure to receive from family and friends.
Sorry to hijack this thread but this will be my last. Trying to keep the overall discussion together. Maybe you could reply in the Computer help side of things.
My chat don't work. Got any ideas to help kick this gov't puter into letting me chat?
Thanks Chief

It has JAVA. The applet fired up and then the prompt for a username came up. Then it said "unable to connect" then just now I tried it and after it attempted to fire up java, it left the screen with an "X" in the top left corner. Strange.
I think this has flash on this computer. It tried to update to the latest version the other day so I"m sure it does. Without admin rights to this laptop of course I can't update or install anything. I miss my home pc sooo bad. ha! Soon enough!
Thanks for all your help Chief
