Australia Ends Iraq Combat Operations

Australia ended combat operations in Iraq June 1, even while that country's new prime minister criticized his predecessor, John Howard, for going into the war and a group of war critics moved to have Howard indicted for a war crime. The Australian troops are expected to return home over the next few weeks.
