Everyone is telling me that it should only last two or three days, but on Camp Pendleton, it's a WEEK long.

Im really excited about picking up, and I'm trying to learn as much as possible, but the truth is, we're beating a dead horse. its so repetitive and dry, with the most ridiculous "team building" exercises in the world on the schedule (we're scheduled to play a game where we spin in circles and run... honestly, how is that teaching us anything?).

Was everyone's Indoc like this? How long was it?

Dockorean:

The exercises done during 'team building' training is done to emphasize the importance that the 'task' cannot be completed without the use of your team mates. It's an attempt to emphasize there is no 'I' in the word Team! Start thinking along the lines that ALL training has something to offer, start thinking like a Team, start thinking as a Leader, start thinking like a Petty Officer.
