Hello folks! I served as a corpsman in Great Lakes from 1988 through 1992. I was exploring Google Earth today, and looking for the BEQ near the hospital. I don't know if my memory is wrong (which is ENTIRELY possible) or if one of the men's BEQs is missing. There was one on the road between the hospital and the corps school, and there was another on the north side (I think) of the hospital, just before the bridge that leads to the rest of the base. I know that there is a women's BEQ, because I lived there for some time, and the second men's BEQ was next to it.
I've attached a photo taken from Google Earth. I've labeled the hospital, the Naval Office of Medical/Dental Affairs, and where I remember the BEQ being. Can anyone tell me if this building was torn down, or do you have any pictures from the late eighties, showing where it was? Thanks!
