You always hear people bitch and complain but you seldom hear good things about anyone - Today is NOT one of those days
Today HMC Crone went above and beyond the call - not only for one of the Corpsman School students but for me (the mother of said sailor) - I wanted to step up on my soapbox and publicly thank him for being there.
Last nightmy Grandmother (my son's Great Grandmother) passed away - I wasn't sure how I was going to break the news to my son since he is at "A" School right now - All I knew was that it was important to me that he not be alone when I told him.
Email is a wonderful tool - I sent HMC Crone a message outlining the situation. He stepped right up and arranged for my son to be in his officeand a call was placed to our home in Michigan so that I could deliver the sad news to Daniel without him having to be alone.
HMC Darrell Crone - Though we have never met, you happily accepted me into the Corpsman.com family - you truly are one in a million and I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me to break this very sad news to Daniel.
