Not to be outdone by the Apple whatsit-doodle, Sprint and Palm today unveiled the new Palm Treo 800w (http://news.cnet.com/8301-10784_3-9990026-7.html?hhTest=1∂=rss&subj=news&tag=2547-1_3-0-20), the latest incarnation of the popular smart phone. It looks to shore up the series somewhat, offering Windows Mobile 6.1, a 2-megapixel camera with 2X zoom, GPS, EVDO Rev. A and integrated Wi-Fi, while coming in a slight smaller form factor. The phone is available starting today from Sprint for $249.99 after rebates, if you sign a two-year contract.
