Bootcamp, A school and C school

I love to bicycle. LOVE TO. It's sort of an obsession. I know I can't have it in boot camp, but can I have my bike sent to me while I'm in A or C school? Will I have time to ride? What about laptops? What personal items can I have?

I remember many shipmates that had a bicycle in corps school, but to ride it on base you had to have a helmet and pads and all that jazz. Laptops are okay too, just keep i locked up when not in use.

When I was aboard my ship, my bike was my main form of transportation. I usually had no problem finding storage space while underway and when arrived at where ever we were going, I had transportation. The only time I did not have space was when we deployed to the Persian Gulf.

The bike was my main transportation also while stationed in Japan with the Marines.

This is really good to know. I am still feeling great about joining the Navy!
