Are these the "typical" scenarios for today's new enlisted male HM recruits?
NCS/Reserve -
Basic, A-School, FMSS, FMF assignment and deploy if time allows, reserve assignment. No GI bill, no C-School,maybe no active FMF assignment/experience due to time to deploy vs. remaining active duty, highly possible reserve FMF deployment, limited (or no)ability to convert to active duty.
Active Duty-
Basic, A-school, FMSS, likely FMF assignment and deploy, C-School, second assignment (could be FMF or other). Full GI bill.
What are the deciding factors as to when/how/what C-School opportunities there are?
