Russia Denies Reported Cuba Base Plans

The Russian Defense Ministry denied a newspaper report that Russia was considering basing nuclear-capable bombers in Cuba. A Russian newspaper this week cited an anonymous air force official as saying the bombers could be based in Cuba as a response to U.S. missile-defense plans.
