Which do you use?
Intel?
AMD?
Intel Apple?
I have to buy a new system for this beast next year and I also want to get Karen a new laptop (thinking apple for her) but I want to also get her a PDA that has Meds info on it..
Anybody have any ideas?? Any Nurses out there?
Thanks

I have 2 P4 laptops and one AMD laptop, plan on building a new system next month (or fixing my suburban). Depends on what mood strikes:)

Yeah we have 2 P4 Toshiba's.. One I have to reset the bios, was my brothers and was left to us when he passed away, unfortunatley he had a PW on his bios..so I gotta figure out a way to reset it.
My wife has a HP with a Centrino chipset in it. She loves it.
I am more high speed low drag, I love Desktop machines more then laptops as I can get my hands in the guts and tear stuff apart.
How are things on your side of the country?

Sorry to hear about your brother, that's the worst way to get a laptop. Talk to your work IT guys, they're always good for coming up with ideas for hacking into a computer.
Life is good, moving into housing tomorrow so we'll have a place to keep our mutt and work is moving good, just put a package in for PMT. I like being an AVT but I think I need to find a job that's actually useful on the outside.
As you can probably tell, I'm also a computer geek, one with an electronics degree, getting to a point in life where I can fix anything, physiological, mechanical or spiritual. I'm good for setting upan electrical systems or fixing blown up DRMO vehicles down range.

Hey did you try pulling the cmos battery and resetting the bios to clear it????
Sometimes that works.
Peace out, I'm stuck @ the shop until????
