I got 8 of 10, I fell for the Hull # trick. Second guess what I already knew. I've always been a greenside Corpsman, I guessed at the AO and was wrong.

I dont know why this did not take the first time. I got 10 out of 10, but then again thats why I was the Senior Chief, not related to AARP seniors (i think?)

Now the ultimate question: When where were mail bouys used and what color were they? Follow up question, What is goatsthorn?

Army test...

Can anyone tell me what a M113 is?

Does the Army have a Navy, railroad, or flying saucer?

I will post the answer tomorrow.

I had to dump some knowledge to retain all that new medical stuff. I'm lucky I still remember how to march ...

On a side note, the other night my wife and I were watching some drinking/drug teenager show. It showed 4 kids (15-17) who were involved in drinking accidents, etc. During the show, I was able to understand a good portion of the medical terminology. Woot for me!

I only spent 2 and half hours on a ship for a tour during my A school. I still got 9/10. It was the AO question. Oh well wasn't on one of those either. M113 I know. It's a personel carrier I believe.

M113 is an armour personel carrier. The Army does have a small Navy mainly troop landing vessels. However, the Army and Navy have worked together in a Joint Operation called Mobile Riverine Force. The Navy operated the ships and dropped off the Army guys to go on patrol. The Army's Navy is at Ft. Story, Va. just south of Virginia Beach.

The Army Transportation at Ft. Eustis, Va. has a railroad with cars to carry supplies, troops, across Country. The staff persons on the trains are locamotive engineers.

If you happen to be anywhere near Ft. Eustis, Va. near Norfolk, Va. go to the Transportation Museum and you will find a two man flying saucer. The craft can hoover but was never developed beyond the test trials that rated it a failure.

Of course, the Air Force may have its hands on a few of the UFO's in Area 51 near Las Vegas, NV. Hard to know fact from fiction in classified areas.

The Army also has a lot of boats used in building bridges.

How did the Army's rolling stock get to Iraq? Aboard a bunch of BANS's. Big Ass Navy Ships. Ships of the Ready Reserve Force that are maintained by the Maritime Administration until needed. They are then turned over to the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, crewed by civilians and floated over.
