Fleet Surgical Team

I am looking at applying for orders to a fleet surgical team. Can someone give me some insight. What do they do? How often do they deploy? Etc. Thanks!

The only Fleet Surgical Team I ran across was through a fellow HM (classmate)onboard the USS Boxer (LHD 4). She was assigned to them and was doing shipboard sickcall, helping with flight physicals, and minor chores like records and instrument prep.
