I am viewing all of these DEP threads and everyone's ship date is set in '08 or earlier in '09. I was just curious if anyone was leaving around early May of '09.

I've applied to be sent out earlier but as of now I ship to rtc May 12 of 2009. Happens to be my brother's birthday, don't know if that's a good omen or bad.

I just signed up last Thurs and my ship date is Early July '09! So far away! When did you sign up?

It sucks, cause so far I'm the only one at the station who's leaving in May. It is taking F-O-R-E-V-E-R. Where are you state-wise?

I leave for Camp May 12 as well.

I don't see how leaving on such a day could be considered a bad omen xD So, no worries ^_^ It would be all like, "Happy birthday Bro! Now I am off to go train so I will have the knowledge and physical capability to be able to defend your, and this country's, butt!"

Wow xD That's just plain ridiculous. You would think you were going Nuke or something (I have heard/witnessed DEP members being subjected to such an incredibly long wait in that rating) xD The wait has been 50/50 for me. It's almost as if my ship date is so close yet so far away xD

And, I can understand how you feel about the wait as well as being the only one being shipped on such a late date. Up until the two Recruiting offices around my area integrated , I was (like I said previous) in the same position. But, with the way things are going, I am sure you will see more and more people joining that are leaving around (if not on) your ship date xD

And state-wise, I reside in Michigan. How about yourself?
