Cross Decking orders

Hi i had a quick question,

I am a 0000 HM E-3 with about4 years in. I just got my orders to the USS Kitty hawk, but its been released that it is going to be replaced by the USS George Washington in 2008. Now I am checking into the Kitty Hawk mid 2007, and a close personal friend is going to Atsugi the same time as me. Will I be able to cross-deck over to the USS George Washington when it replaces my ship in order to stay in Japan? Has this been done in the past that anybody knows of? Thanks in advance.

Your assinged to the Kitty Hawk, you go where it goes until your PRD is done.

Unless, it is decommissioned and the detailers send you somewhere else.

Have you spoken to your CCC about this? I think you would have gotten your answer there.

Thanks for the quick answer. I did ask my CCC and she said that she has heard of it being done in the past, but I have heardotherwise from others around the command so I was unsure. I will update my information now.
